The DeepTech Hub (Heidelberg University, University Mannheim, KIT, HKA, Hochschule Mannheim, Mafinex Gründerzentrum and Heidelberg Startup Partners) welcomes you to our Match-Making event in speed dating atmosphere?.
Talents or people interested in joining a startup have the possibility to meet their future workspace and start the ascending journey. What: Co-Founder Match Making DeepTech Hub
Start into internet of things with Rasperry Pi and the visial application openHAB!
This unique offer is given to female founders by Startup Mannheim and GIG7. Topic will be a start in SmartHome with Raspberry Pi – Sms when the plant is to dry, Light on or temperature control off depending on weather conditions… So a very exciting and hands-on start into coding and there are no prerequisites needed apart from bringing your own laptop.
In detail the workshop will cover:
- Raspberry Pi – an introduction
- openHAB – installation and getting started on a Raspberry Pi
- sensors – getting aware of the environment and influencing it
- user interfaces - giving a face to data
- MQTT – getting things talk!
On Friday evening there will also be a networking event for those that cannot participate all the way (will be on meetup soon).

You have an interesting idea for a new product with high potential and/or a first prototype? Then start to develop a customer-orientated product concept within the accelerator-programme SEED of GREEN ACCELERATOR Grünhof in Freiburg/Germany.
Applicants can be individuals as well as startup-teams, bringing in a startup-idea and being in the (pre-)founding stage.
The SEED-programme will enable successful candidates to develop and grow their business modell step by step. Within 8 weeks the idea should be much more concrete, to be able to start over. Part of the programme is expert coaching, a stylish office place within an inspiring community and a valuable corporate network. In contrast to some other accelerators Grünhof doesn´t want your money and isn´t asking for shares ;) Included are also 4 exciting basecamps and awesome after-work-events.
