Even if you might not have started your own business yet, you are thrilled by startups and have passion for entrepreneurship? Perhaps you have been a long-standing fan of the founder scene? You have an idea and want to implement it? Or you are already a founder? All those who would like to exchange ideas about the Startup culture and meet inspiring people are welcome!

We support entrepreneurial activities and deal with topics related to the new economy, start-ups and business models. At the same time, we organize lectures, workshops and company visits to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and encourage you to implement your business ideas. In addition, you can develop your own start-up concept in our workshops and get feedback from our partners. As an active member, you benefit from unique business contacts and participate in the organization of events. You are also welcome to contact self-chosen companies or well-known people of the scene while developing your planning and communication skills. We also offer opportunities to work on joint projects to gain first practical experience, for example in marketing or website programming. Everyone should be able to implement their own ideas with us.

For the coming semester, we have already planned some great events that are just waiting for you! If you are interested, feel free to come to one of our weekly meetings. You can find the current meetings on our website

Don´t worry: you don´t need any previous knowledge! We look forward to meeting you!

Thinc! is a students’ initiative and registered association at the University of Mannheim established with the aim to raise Mannheim students’ awareness for entrepreneurial thinking. The name thinc! comes from a blend of words – think + incorporate. Since thinc! has been founded in 2004, it has built an extensive network of startups and entrepreneurs. Thus thinc! provides workshops, lectures and trips to innovative enterprises for its members in order to get an impression of entrepreneurship in practice. In collaboration with our patron Prof. Woywode and his Chair of Entrepreneurship thinc! endeavors to achieve its vision to enable and support students interested in business formations to realize their own businesses alongside their studies.
