The funding program ”Young Innovators” supports young researchers from universities, non-academic research institutions and academies in developing and selling innovative products and business models. Fundable is the preparation for setting up a start-up that deals with innovative products, procedures or services, e.g. inventions, software or other technological know-how.
The program includes consulting and other support as well as a constant funding and income comparable with a permanent post-doc position. That is about to offer an alternative to a regular uni contract to enable researchers starting over with their ideas. As a long-term target the program tries to ease knowledge and technology transfer from academic and research institutions into business. Therefor it particularly aims at potential founders who were benefitting from other funding before that is about to end.

The ASAP BW Finale is coming up, a university competition in which the best teams from Baden-Württemberg pitch their startup ideas in 90 seconds. The teams have the opportunity to present their ideas on a virtual stage and thereby the chance to win prizes of up to €1,000 as well as places in subsequent funding programs. Your task
You will independently manage HIMAs social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn and Intranet).
You actively participate in HIMAs innovation projects, by researching innovative solutions, technologies, scouting, etc.
You create analyses within the scope of the projects in our innovation sprints
You support the preparation, execution and follow-up of meetings, workshops and events
You create evaluations of surveys and interviews

The big ASAP BW final #9 is on, are you in? On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m., the best teams from THE LÄND will pitch their ideas live via Veertly in front of a jury of experts and the audience. You can expect exciting ideas and the minds behind them. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to network with the startup scene BW and make new contacts. The winners, who will be judged and selected by well-known players in the startup scene, will receive prizes of up to 1,000 euros in various categories as well as places and support in further funding programs in Baden-Württemberg.
For all interested parties: You still have until February 01, 2023, 10 a.m., to submit your application to ASAP BW and thus qualify for the final #9. You can also look forward to Sebastian Demuth and Christian Veit from "Spätzle Valley - der Startup Podcast", who will host the ninth final and guide us through the evening.
