The Technical University of Kaiserslautern has annouced that the local chair of entrepreneurship will be offering a half-time research associate position.
The position offers flexible hours of work and the chance to arrange a promotion. It is limited to three years, but can be prolonged. The tasks include the executing courses, supporting the management of cooperations with the universital founding office and empirical research in areas around entrepreneurship.
Applicants should have the qualification to begin a promotion in business administration, good English language skills and knowledge of empirical research methods.

Social entrepreneurs, potential founders and entrepreneurship lovers – check this out! Starting this month, a new event format brings ideas with social impact to Mannheim!
The Social Impact Bar is an inspirational and networking event, which is powered by the SAP Corporate Social Responsibility Team. It will take place every last Tuesday of the month at the Alte Feuerwache. Teams from the Social Impact Start Programme will share and discuss their business ideas with the audience.
Joint the very first event and meet the teams of:
- Bettervest – the first crowdfunding-platform which allows citizens to invest small amounts of cash collectively into ecologically beneficial power efficiency projects by businesses, communes, clubs and private households. In return, they can receive a share of the financial savings.
- Irrepressible Voices - a community video platform for human rights - an extended “Vimeo for human rights”.
- Kompotoi – a project for the saving of water and energy ressources. The goal is to lease compost- and dry toilets for small and medium-sized occasions in order to close the biological circle by composting the incidental feces.
