Hackdays Rhein-Neckar 2021: in the starting blocks! Hackays Rhein-Neckar

The start-up The Hackathon Company started right after it was founded with one of the largest hackathons in the metropolitan region. Many other successful events followed - both online and offline. For now, however, they will remain digital with the Hackdays Rhein-Neckar 2021, which are just as real-time and engaging as their offline predecessor.

So, continue with the motto: Go Big or Go Home!

With the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region as the foundation and countless renowned companies on board: Between February 25 and 28, the digital natives will get their heads together again to multiply their common wealth of ideas. Over 250 international talents are expected! However, this time the focus is on community building. I beg your pardon? Right, with a sustainable community project, ongoing synergies should be built that can develop further beyond the hackathon events: A platform for like-minded people to make contacts, exchange know-how, and simply have the right amount of entertainment with themselves brings.

8 real challenges

Eight companies, each one a challenge: Of course, it's all about process-precise digitization again. For HeidelbergCement, the development of an optimized customer communication portal is a top priority, while John Deere relies on something else: Smart Farming. BASF would like to improve the waste treatment of companies through chemical innovation and the INTER Insurance Group is striving for a transparent solution that can give customers individual insurance recommendations. It's going to be sporty at the DFB in the area of fan engagements and MLP throws the improvement into the ring using a voice-controlled communication solution. Pepperl & Fuchs has set itself the goal of automating warehouse management, whereas Schweickert would like to optimize and improve it with speech recognition.

So there are no limits to the variety, but the application deadline is soon.

Students, young professionals and experienced professionals from the fields of IT, design, business and marketing have the opportunity to apply for the Hackdays Rhein-Neckar 2021 until February 14th.

Participation is free of charge.
