During their MAN 633 Entrepreneurial Spirit course in fall semester 2021 Milav Ahmad, Reyane Aissou, Kolos Izsoo and Isabella Schoof joined Tanso. The team was focussing on performing essential research for the company. In doing so they examined new markets for potential customers. Moreover, they were looking at the regulatory framework the company deals with.

Tanso enables businesses to reach climate neutrality by making sustainability accounting as integrated, transparent, and verifiable as financial accounting. Tanso is developing software to be launched as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). It offers streamlined reporting workflows, automated data gathering and processing, and lastly full calculation transparency and auditability. After a pre-seed funding round of 1.6 million euros, Tanso is supported not only by various VCs but also by business angels.
