Are you interested in strategic consulting and business restructuring? The Institute of SME Research at the University of Mannheim offers a free two-day training to gain insights into this arcane profession. The workshop includes a restructuring simulation of a challenging real-life restructuring scenario. Participants will solve realistic and typical turnaround case issues and – using role play exercises – will put themselves into the position of various parties involved (banks, enterprise, consultants, etc.) to experience what operative turnaround management is about. Moreover, students have the opportunity get together with consultants from Roland Berger - Germany’s leading restructuring consultancy – to discuss career & internship opportunities.

The workshop will be instructed by Mr. Georg Harenberg who is a successful entrepreneur in Berlin („Life is Good“ GmbH / CARAS Gourmet / ~ 100 employees). Mr. Harenberg has a distinguished track record in restructuring at several large consultancies and is an internationally known specialist trainer for restructuring consulting.
