If you are planning to found a startup in the biotech area, there are two upcoming support programs in Heidelberg by the Biotech Cluster Rhine-Neckar that you should keep an eye on! Beginning from the 7th of May, the Biotech Entrepreneurship Training Program will provide participants with a basic understanding of how scientific results can be turned into turned into a business plan and thereby used to create economic value. The course will evolve around the creation of a viable business idea and end with a pitch in front of a critical audience, so visitors will be provided with some hands-on experience next to the theory! The second program is the "Biotech Entrepreneurship and Leadership" series, where entrepreneurs and top managers will pass their experiences on to the students! The lectures will take place every second Monday during the lecture period, starting Monday, 14 April, 2014, 4-6 pm at the Conference Center, Heidelberg Technology Park, Im Neuenheimer Feld 582. A formal registration ist not required. The speakers will be:
