Final Call Stihl Cutting Edge Award 17 November

Stihl is looking for innovative, bold and visionary students able to deliver answers to new economic questions: What kind of products are markets currently waiting for? How could new tools such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud-Computing be used to make products smarter? What could that particularly mean in regard to Stihls products for agriculture and forestry, construction and gardening? How will the world of work look like in the future?

Participants can win attractive prices and become part of the Stihl Mentoring Programme. Therefor interested students are kindly asked to hand in ideas in one of three different categories: smart products, digital services and world-life-future. Deadline is 17 November. Participation can be realized in a team with up to 5 members or as a single person.

Stihl was founded in 1926 as a family owned business. Since then the company constantly was growing and is today one of the most famous SME in Germany, known as a brand in most global markets. The companies business philosophy is not only to be excellent in its core business but also to constantly improve by investing significantly into research and innovation and cooperating widely with startups.
