The Entrepreneurship Group Rhein-Neckar and Griesl-Training offer a basic training for negotiation techniques.
We help you develop your skills based on the idea of the Harvard concept. It will introduce the 5 steps that will lead you to successful negotiations and better results. These results will be beneficial for both negotiation parties and directly applicable in your work environment.

You need financial advice? Then participate in the next Elevator Pitching of Rhein-Neckar Technology Ventures on June 12, 2015 at the MAFINEX in Mannheim! Take the chance to convince 20 potential investors of your business idea by shortly presenting them your business concept (3-10 minutes). The investors include business angels, venture capitalists and opportunities for crowd funding. 

The aim of the Rhein-Neckar Technology Ventures Day is matching investors and start-ups. Key element of the event is bringing together investors and founders and facilitating interaction. Hence, innovative start-ups and young companies get the opportunity to meet well-known venture capitalists and private investors through speed-dating activities. The young entrepreneurs then have the chance to personally talk investors through their business idea and convince the enterprise’s potential success.

Last week, 33 participants from  the University of Mannheim and other universities in the Rhein-Neckar area participated in our Entrepreneurship Bootcamp. During the kickoff-event at Tuesday evening (21.10), introduction session were held for the participants as well as the local key actors in the entrepreneurship area. Institutions  like the MAFINEX 
Gründerverbund Entrepreneur
Rhein-Neckar e.V., the Heidelberg Startup Partners or the Technologiezentrum Ludwigshafen offered a concise overview of the various local support opportunities for founders and people who think about becoming one. The following Startup Lounge with free drinks (powered by Osborne Clarke) brought a relaxed conclusion to the first evening.

The second day started at Thursday morning with the topic „human centered innovation“. Hendrik Dahlhaus gave a great introduction and left the participants with an apetite for a further examination of the topic. Subsequently, Thomas Prexl from the Heidelberg Startup Partners held an exciting and entertaining presentation about the topic "Market Research".

Two insights into the world of finance were provided by Marc Langner from Leonardo Venture who spoke about VCs and Alexander Ernst from the Mannheim Business Angels Network who gave valuable information about the topic "Business Angels".

The keynote of Michael Altendorf, co-founder of Adtelligence, was considered as a special highlight by many participants. The presentation of Robert Koning, founding consultant and Business Angel, was also cherished for explaining the Business Model Canvas with the “cow approach” in a very charming manner. The founder panel focussing on HR was the conclusion of the second day. It was well received by the participants, especially because of the lively exhibitions of anecdotes from the daily rountine of startup founders. 

On the last day (25.10.), marketing strategy  as well as rather formal topics like the choice of a legal form and taxes were processed. Dr. Tilo Jung and Stefan Baumann gave some competent and suspenseful introductions. After that, some fresh air was brought in by the pitches from the Junior Accelerator participants. They were all at a high level of innovativeness and professionalism - a great conclusion to this year's Bootcamp, which left many participants with a "let's do it!"-feeling.

The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp prepares you for starting-up your own business and entering self-employment. This exciting initiative is open to all interested entrepreneurs and nascent entrepreneurs in the Rhine-Neckar region. It constitutes an exclusive insight into the real life challenges of successful entrepreneurs and will also be equipped with essential business plan, finance, marketing and other topics in a dynamic and interactive environment.

Note that the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is held in German language.

Gemeinsam mit dem Junior Accelerator Baden-Württemberg wird auf dem Gründer-Podium die Thematik „Team und Personal: Finden, fördern, feuern?“ diskutiert. Dabei sprechen echte Mannheimer Entrepreneure mit Experten aus der Venture Capital-Branche und dem Recruiting. Außerdem steht der Besuch der Businessplan-Präsentationen des Junior Accelerators Baden-Württemberg auf dem Programm. Hierbei heißt es: Dazulernen, wenn erfolgreiche Jung-Unternehmer ihr Projekt präsentieren.
