Quandoo - First a Founder Talk, then a 200M exit

Quandoo, founded in 2013 by the MCEI networkers and former Groupon employees Philipp Magin and Sebastian Moser, offers the reservation of tables in more than 6.000 restaurants world wide, covering more than 13 countries.

Shortly after last years Founder Talk they were able to raise an incredible 40m investment round and now they have been acquired for over 200m$ by the Japanese company Recruit Holdings according to an official press note:

"Recruit Holdings Co Ltd said today that it has agreed to buy German online restaurant reservation service provider Quandoo GmbH for 198.6 million euros ($219 million), the latest overseas acquisition for the Japanese staffing firm. Recruit, which already owns 7.09 percent of Quandoo, will acquire the rest of the company, it said in a statement."
