"Turning strangers in to friends" is value proposition of Boracay PubCrawl Inc (BPCI) which is essential about engineering happiness using the framework of a bar-hopping tour also called 'Pub Crawl'.

After graduating from the University of Mannheim with a B.Sc. in Business Administration and a year of business development experience in a high-tech start-up, Oliver Köllner decide to take a leap of faith to the Philippines to start a business centered around applying research findings on happiness. While he has always been fascinated with the field of positive psychology, he had no idea at that time what kind of business it would be. After 2 months non-stop partying he realized that there was an element of happiness to be found in night-life which however wasn't long lasting enough. His later proven to be correct assumption that making new friends would have the biggest longterm impact since the number of meaningful relationships and the feeling of belongingness are among strongest factors for happiness.

Only a year after starting, Boracay PubCrawl turns up to 1000 strangers into friends each month in the frame work of a bar-hopping tour that makes it easy to make new friends. Having recently expanded to Manila, Boracay PubCrawl Inc's vision is to elevate happiness through-out South East Asia one stranger at a time.

To every aspiring entrepreneur Oliver suggests to build a business that they don't regret starting even if they fail. His reasoning follows as once they succeed they will have turned the world and themselves into a happier state without having to spend their newly hard-earned profit.

And if you would love to do the same, there is hope as well: Boracay PubCrawl Inc. is offering internships for entrepreneurial minded students and graduates that want to test their skills what many would consider their most practiced hobby: Night-Life.
