Kimeta is one of the five largest portals for job offers in Germany. The implemented artificial intelligence works similar to Google as a search engine for job ads. It searches career websites and personnel consultancy services and keeps them available for search queries. This results in a total of around 2.6 million job advertisements available on the platform. These search results are sorted according to qualitative criteria and actuality. They can also be refined by numerous filters. Kimeta supports companies with individual offers in the search for matching applicants and in optimizing online recruitment.

Another business area is the licensing of the established search engine technology to cooperating partners such as newspaper publishers as well as the development of customized search solutions for complex requirements on behalf of state and commercial organizations. The company headed by Torsten Hein and Alexander Roß, with locations in Darmstadt and Saarbrücken was founded in 2005 by Dr. Erik Spickschen and Torsten Hein. Kimeta GmbH has been a spin-off of the company MSW & Partner. Within a few years, the company managed to become among the most popular and Wide job portals in Germany. In 2018, Kimeta was appointed for the eighth time in a row consecutive test winner in the survey of CrossPro Research in the category "Job search engines".

Kimeta is also one of the leading providers of digital publishing services and currently operates more than 40 portals for publishing groups in whole Germany. The shareholder structure of Kimeta consists of the founders as well as newspaper publishers, whose focus is, among other things, on a sustainable market presence in the digital field.
