Startup Characteristics
YFood is a complete, perfectly balanced meal in ready-to-drink form. It is made for a modern generation, which has less and less time, faces a higher degree of mobility but wants to eat healthier at the same time. YFood therefore is "healthy fast-food of the future". Developed by renowned German food-scientists, we released our product to the market only about a year ago, and experienced strong growth ever since. We currently count online customers in 25 countries and are represented in over 5,000 offline POS across DACH (Rewe, Kaufland, Müller, uvm.). With those two revenue streams combined we'll hit the EUR 10m revenue run-rate soon. In 2019 we'll expand to the U.S. supported by the German Accelerator Program of the federal government. Our headquarters are still in Munich where we now are a team of 20 food-tech enthusiasts.
