MCEI offers the following courses in the upcoming spring semester. MCEI 453 is a course on a Bachelor level, MAN 632 and 633 are Master courses.
(1) MAN 453 Thinking Beyond Boxes – Advance your startup
The course encourages the further development of student business ideas from all faculties of the University of Mannheim. Within the course format, students develop their own already existing business ideas individually or as a start-up team (after consultation). Milestones tailored to each startup are set at the beginning of the course. Coaching by MCEI employees to develop innovative products and services is ensured throughout the semester. (2) MAN 632 Advanced Entrepreneurship – Meet Top Entrepreneurs in Class
This course addresses Master students and provides the opportunity to meet top entrepreneurs in class, who share their experience and insights. (3) MAN 633 Entrepreneurial Spirit
This course is our format for Master students to foster startup growth, entrepreneurial culture and to advance the startup ecosystem at and around the University of Mannheim. With their expertise, students support startups in improving their products, services, and business models and help them in being more competitive. In this course you will work with existing companies and actively contribute to their well-being. Thus, high dedication, willingness to take over responsibilities and professionalism are a prerequisite. In MAN 633 there are two tracks: One for students who have no startup project yet and one for students (individual or founding team) who work on their own advanced startup project. Registration and Final Course Decision
Please register via the Student Portal (https://portal2.uni-mannheim.de) during the central University of Mannheim registration period. In case of the Bachelor course MAN 453 Thinking Beyond Boxes please get also in contact with the course coordinators prior to registration
Next to your Portal² registration, please join our course group on the MCEI platform. Instructions will be provided throughout the first sessions and via e-mail to all students who have registered via Portal². In this class, we will not work with the University of Mannheim ILIAS system. You need the MCEI course group to obtain your study material and stay up to date regarding all course information and relevant discussions. In case you face trouble signing up, please contact the course coordinator.
