What is the QEC?
The Queen's Entrepreneurs' Competition (QEC) is one of the "longest-running and best-known undergraduate business plan competitions in the world" as stated by the New York Times. Entering our 33rd consecutive year in a row, the QEC recruits top entrepreneurs from around the world to compete for over $100,000 in total prizes. Furthermore, competitors have access to exceptional networking opportunities, with partners such as Google, Microsoft, GreenSky Capital, Michele Romanow, and many more in attendance!

On Friday, 9th October, the launch event of the Meisterklasse program will take place. Participation is open to everybody and free of charge. The event will be online.

The Gründermotor-Initiative is offering a masterclass to boost start-ups in being more capable of attracting investments and/or BW-Pre-Seed-Funding. The program is open to innovative start-ups with university or research background from Baden-Württemberg and financed by investors and the state of Baden-Württemberg.
This Wednesday Uni Heidelberg´s speaker series heiINNOVATION talks in digital health is about to start.The talks take place online every Wednesday and start at 5 pm. The series is conceptually supported by the hih - health innovation hub of the Federal Ministry of Health in Berlin. heiINNOVATION is the transfer agency of Heidelberg University, aiming at knowledge and technology transfer of research results into society.
Digitisation as a major force of change is increasingly presenting new challenges for the healthcare sector. However, digitalisation also has the potential to rethink traditional solutions with the help of new technologies, innovative products and advanced services, and to adapt them efficiently to a rapidly changing world. Entrepreneurship as an important driver for the further development of innovative ideas, current research approaches and technology transfer are of particular focus. The series offers a cross section of perspectives from different stakeholders in the health sector, and at the same time gives actors from research, politics and business the opportunity to network with each other.

Hochschule Mannheim is looking for a Content Manager*in to support their new startup initiative “MARS - Mannheim Runaway for Startups”. Applicants from Hochschule Mannheim and other universities of applied science and universities are welcome.
Tasks of the Content Manager*in will mainly include content producing as well as content seeding on channels like their website and social media. In concrete that means producing all sort of content like postings or homepage texts. Beside these core tasks the future Content Manager*in will also support the team in promoting project and activities of MARS within the uni and the whole start-up environment and network.
