SAP is inviting IT-based startups looking to pitch and participate in the Forum which will take place from 26th to 27th of Februar at the SAP AppHaus in Heidelberg. Come to the SAP Startup Forum and HANA Bootcamp for two days of collaboration, learning and networking with like-minded leaders focused on startups, technologies, analytics, and big data.
You will have the chance to learn about the offerings of SAP for young firms such as the SAP Startup Focus Program and SAP Ventures for funding young firms. You will also be introduced to the possibilities of SAP HANA and how it can be leveraged to enable or accelerate your products and business models. Additionally, SAP is bringing together experts and speakers who will help shape the discussion around the needs and gaps in the IT industry and where big data is heading.

- Learn how startups can get traction with access to SAP technology, SAP communication channels and SAP Marketplace.
- Meet representatives from SAP Ventures to explore funding opportunities (out of the $405 million USD startup venture fund from SAP Ventures).

- Gain a strong partner and self-assessment tools in the SAP Startup Focus program, present at SAP’s largest trade fairs.

MCEI goes Entrepreneurship Club: The Entrepreneurship Club, a MCEI partner, invites you to its next 'First Tuesday Party'. It will also be the welcome party for our Bootcamp participants who start their program on November 5. The Entrepreneurship Club's 'First Tuesday Party' will be held on November 5th, 2013 at 7.30 pm at Café Prag. The Entrepreneurship Club is a partner initiative between ADtelligence, the Clustermanagement Musikwirtschaft and MCEI.
Dr. Christian Thum and Dr. Stefan Seedorf, the two founders of Synchronite, will provide a kick-off presentation about their founding story and will share their success factors with you. After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to get to know other founders, investors and company representatives in a relaxed atmosphere and discuss your startup ideas in an unconstrained manner. The networking will be eased by some surprise activities which will help you get to know the right people to present your idea to. Further, the first 100 glasses of sparkling wine will be free. So make sure to be on time.
The event is a perfect preparation to start into the highly entrepreneruial month of November, in which also the German Gründerwoche will be held from November 18-24. In the context of the Gründerwoche, MCEI will have two more events besides the Bootcamp for you. News coming up shortly - so stay tuned!
